An Athens Runners organised event. This Sunday 20th of October at 9:30am we're are running the historic Plaka district in central Athens.

Meet next to the fountain at Syntagma Square at 9:20am for a 9:30am start.

Thousands of runners each year take part in this special night race with runners lighting up Kallithea with their special head torches they run with, offering an impressive sight.

More than 4,000 runners, including Special Olympics athletes and people with disabilities, run the 10km, 5km and 1km routes of the SNF Nostos Run for a good cause but also for their physical and mental health .

“Στα Ίχνη Της Ιεράς Οδού” is inspired by the steps of the mystics of the past as they crossed the “Sacred Way” with the aim of awakening their consciousness through the Eleusinian Mysteries.

The distance for young runners (up to 12 years old) is 1300m, while for adults it’s 10,000m. Also, a 5,000m race will take place. for adults and high school students.

This is the eighth year of a “mountain” running race that takes place around and inside the hill of the Veikou grove in Galatsi, as well as in the Turkovounia area.
